Policies.

  • Accepted Payment.  The Hidden Cave Ranch LLC accepts debit or credit cards (3.5% convenience fee), Venmo, Apple Pay, US currency or checks.
  • Check-In time.  Between 3:00 PM Central time and 9:00 PM Central time. Please realize that the Hidden Cave Ranch is a horse farm and that we spend most of our time at the farm, taking care of 100+ animals. That's why we can't accommodate check-ins before 3:00 PM Central time, and why we ask you to notify us when you are running late and can't make the scheduled check-in time.
  • Check-Out time.  Before 10:30 AM.
  • Minimum Stay.  No minimum stay, except during National Holidays, a 2-night minimum is required.
  • Children. Guests expect a relaxing atmosphere so therefore we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 5 years. No age restriction when booked all the rooms at ones.
  • Food restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate dietary issues with 72 hours notice.
  • Pets. We love animals, but unfortunately are unable to accommodate your pets at this time.
  • Non registered guests. For everyone's safety, only registered guests of the Hidden Cave Ranch are permitted on the property unless permission has been obtained by the innkeepers. If you are planning activities that may include non registered guests, please call and ask if we can accommodate you before you make your reservation.
  • Parking.  We have plenty of free parking. Trailer parking is at a separate area. Please call first.
  • Horseback riding. Information about horseback riding is available here.
  • Coolers. We ask that coolers remain outside or in your vehicle.
  • Smoking.  For the comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask you not to smoke or vape anywhere on the property. We are a non-smoking facility.
  • Fragrance Free. Many guests these days have respiratory issues that are exacerbated by lingering perfumes and aftershave that can easily permeate rooms and the rest of the inn. All of our cleaning products are either fragrance free or hypoallergenic. We ask that you please kindly consider others and refrain from using optional perfume and aftershave products (including essential oils) in your room. Unlike modern hotels, this is a log home without a central exhaust system. In addition, once you leave, someone will likely be occupying your room a mere four hours later; no one wants to inhale a previous guest's personal fragrance.
  • Cancellations.  Please realize we are a small family owned business and that our policy is to never overbook rooms. Please give us as much advance notice as possible if you have to cancel, or re-schedule your reservation.  If you cancel or reschedule 31 days (46 days for holidays and special occasions), prior to check in, we will refund your deposit. There is a $35 cancellation fee per room. If you cancel within that time frame, your deposit will not be refunded.
  • Travel Insurance. We recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more. For your convenience, we offer travel protection through Travelex Insurance Services.   • Early Check-Out.   If a guest checks out before the scheduled departure date, they are still responsible for the cost of the entire reservation.
  • Rates & Policies. Rates and policies may be subject to change without notice. A 11% Kentucky combined state and local lodging and sales tax is not included in our rates.
  • Owner's Rights. The Hidden Cave Ranch is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for guest accidents or injury, or loss of money, jewelry, valuables of any kind.
  • Property Damage.  The Hidden Cave Ranch LLC assumes no responsibility for the loss of valuables. We are not responsible for articles left in the rental unit or vehicle.
  • Liability.  Hidden Cave Ranch LLC, it's owners, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any person or property, including but not limited to Guests (or guests of guests), of any nature resulting from any accident or occurrence in or about the Hidden Cave Ranch, the Rental Unit, the building in which the Rental Unit is a part of and the campers, including but not limited to, any and all claims, demands, damages, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees, judgments, fines and amounts paid or to be paid in settlement) resulting from: (i) the acts or omissions of Guests; (ii) wind, rain, or other elements; (iii) theft, vandalism, fire, acts of terrorism, or acts of God.
