It also listed a private bathroom which it did not have. The breakfast was so/so and it unfortunately gave me diarrhea. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel warmly welcomed into their home and the bed-and-breakfast. Every detail of our experience was thoughtful and professional. The meals Marion and Jaro prepared for us — breakfast and dinner — were absolutely delicious, and it felt like dining with family. We loved walking the grounds, meeting the animals, and going on a trail ride. Marion is such a gifted instructor who clearly knows her horses and takes incredible care of them. The animals are happy and well-loved, and the farm dogs were fantastic companions too! The property itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Exploring the hidden cave was an unforgettable highlight — definitely bring a light and some water shoes for that adventure. Marion and Jaro even went the extra mile to take us into downtown Burkesville for a bluegrass festival, and they supplied us with chairs so we could just relax and enjoy it. This stay was so much more than just a bed-and-breakfast. It was a warm, welcoming, memorable experience hosted by two of the kindest, most professional people you could ever hope to meet. This place has BY FAR been my favorite place I’ve ever visited!!!! Trust me, I travel a good bit. Marion and Jaro are some of the kindest people I have known and have become good friends even though we are states away! I ended up purchasing one of their horses and boy is he a gem. Their hospitality, care of their animals and property management is remarkable! 10/10 recommend! It’s peaceful, quiet, remote and Jaro’s cooking is impeccable!!! The sleeping accommodations are lovely and they are so willing to help in any way they can! I love this place and these people! Marion and Jaro are amazing hosts and made us feel at home right from the moment we stepped in the big chalet. We spent three nights in the family room and didn't want to leave the ranch! In addition to the wonderful humans, we were also delighted to meet the extensive menagerie including a sweet cat on the doorstep, a playful puppy who helped us find the super cool "hidden cave", two beautiful curly horses who took us on a ride through the woods, without counting the cute alpacas, cows, sheep, horses, ponies and dogs who came to say hi as we were walking by. The food was delicious and we enjoyed sharing breakfast and dinner together with other guests in a warm and cozy atmosphere. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and needed an overnight stop. Hidden Cave is an absolutely gorgeous out of the way spot. I would have loved to spend a few days there relaxing and enjoying the ranch. Yes, the beds are comfortable, even for us. (We're used to a waterbed.) My wife and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary with a trip to Hidden Cave Ranch, to spend a few evenings away from our normal activities. To be honest, we had to decompress more than ever! This place was the perfect remedy! The first thing we noticed was how peaceful the area was. Marion and Jaro, were as everyone has mentioned, the perfect hosts. Their ranch was filled with so many things to do and animals to see, that a few days just isn't enough. Marion is exceptional when it comes to her knowledge of horses and other livestock. She conveys it flawlessly! Jaro is simply awesome with the dishes he serves up to visitors. Everything is fresh. His service style is amazing! It is simply a treat to eat here! Aryetta and I actually felt pampered and we were treated as though we were family! We are now looking forward to returning in the fall as we are both certain this ranch and the surrounding area will be nothing less than enchanting as the colors change in the leaves and they begin to fall. The rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious, both Juro and Marion went above and beyond to accommodate us. We can’t say enough about them, their Ranch and Bed & Breakfast! As we explored the town close to their ranch, the people and establishments couldn’t say enough good things about them. They’re very well liked and respected in their community. When they talked about Juro and Marion they had smiles and good things to say. The ranch was clean and inviting! There was a lot to do there and part of my family went on a trail ride and my 87 year young mother in law enjoyed working with the horses and very much enjoyed herself. What a great family get away! Marion and Jaro run a beautiful bed and breakfast. The view was stunning, hospitality was 100 percent, food was amazing homemade cooking and very delicious. Enjoyed every minute of my stay there, and all the animals were so special. Everyone was so friendly. Definitely coming back.
